Since I’d want to do more (resizing photos, cache planning, etc.), I’d want a more capable PC, and that pretty much means I might as well bring my laptop, and use it indoors at some WiFi Hotspot along the way. It of course requires a data subscription that includes a phone “hotspot” which you need anyway for Geocaching Live. But I could run Windows utilities and send caches from the web site. Tiny screen, tiny memory, not great battery life.
I once looked at cheapie Windows 10 pocket PCs at about $150. OK, sometimes I arrive and the PQ didn’t arrive on the GPS. The file appears in the list of files in the device memory or on the memory card.
